Sometimes the best way to help a place is to
leave it alone. Imagine Connecticut without open spaces and natural
parks, without places for residents to enjoy a hike through the woods
or a walk along our rocky shoreline.
Connecticut’s goal is to protect our current and future natural
resources and open lands. In the halls of Hartford and in municipal
land-use meetings across the state, Trout Unlimited volunteers and
staff are advocating for responsible land use and lasting protection of
the state’s best remaining trout habitat.
